The total solar eclipse is just days away and a lot of people will whip out their cell phones to try and capture the moment.
However, experts say your smartphone camera won't take a magnificent image on its own.
According to NASA, a telephoto lens for your phone will help.
South Georgia phone experts said since there hasn't been a total solar eclipse in smartphone history, the exact effect on your phone's camera is unknown.
They suggest simply enjoying it with your own eyes or trying not to zoom in on your phone's camera.
"If you do take a picture of it, just crop the picture afterwards," said Crystal O'Donnal with The Phone Revival. "It's going to be so close in, it's not going to look good if you zoom in."
