ACTOR Bill Murray is alleged to have been involved in a mobile phone rage episode in California.

ANGRY: Bill reportedly threw two phones off a balconyBill, 65, was allegedly annoyed by the camera flashes after fans spotted him in the town of Carmel and threw at least two phones over the second floor balcony in a fit of rage.
The Ghostbusters actor has reportedly offered to pay for the fans' mobile phones.
According to TMZ police said the owners were happy for compensation and decided against pressing charges.

COMPENSATION: Apparently Bill's going to pay the fans back for their phonesTMZ reported the actor was "hanging out" on Thursday at the Vesuvio rooftop lounge - "a popular watering hole for celebs" - and playing in an annual golf tournament.
The owner of the restaurant also told TMZ Bill had not been drinking at the bar but got angry when "a few patrons got star struck and took his picture".
There were also reports from a Californian broadcaster KSBW that Justin Timberlake was hosting a tequila party at the venue.

A police spokesman said officers were called to "a disturbance" but Bill had already left by the time they arrived.
