IPhone 7 Plus release rumors point towards Dual-Lens Camera

There are also reports that the iPhone 7 could have a longer battery life, even though most of the time Apple does not sacrifice other features of the latest iPhone to achieve higher battery power. And the iPhone 7 might be 6 millimeters to 6.5 millimeters thick, compared to the iPhone 6, which is 6.9 millimeters thick, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in a note to investors a year ago. It had previously been suggested that there could be two iPhone 7 Plus models, a regular version and a Pro model, with the former having a single rear camera and the latter have a dual camera setup.

According to BGR, the iPhone 7 Plus or Pro will have 3GB RAM, which, one would guess, was an essential addition, to meet the advanced requirements of the dual camera feature. The biennial design philosophy was expected to help the Apple iPhone 7 stand out from the crowd. But so is the iPhone 6s, and the iPhone 7 won't be much different from it and will actually be slightly better with repositioned antenna bands. If the dummy photo is indeed true, then this year's iPhone 7 may not really be as new as anticipated.

The analyst said in the note, the 5.5 inches iPhone will carry a dual-lens camera with limited optical zoom capabilities due to design constraints, and 3GB RAM, increasing 50% from iPhone 6S Plus's 2GB RAM. Keep in mind analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities now says as well that Apple's dual-camera iSight array will be exclusive to the iPhone 7 Plus.

These iPhone 7 drawings show a camera bump that's similar to the one on the iPhone 6s, so it appears that rumors pointing to a flush sensors weren't accurate.

And last but not least, it might seem like the iPhone 7 Plus could come with a Smart Connector that's now available exclusively on the iPad Pro.

Of course, we'll know nothing for certain until Apple's September event, though we could receive some hints during WWDC and once Apple's iOS 10 beta software begins reaching developers.

So far nothing is certain, but there are a huge number of rumors floating around and we've collected them all below, so you can get the clearest possible idea of what to expect from the iPhone 7 Plus.
