New rumors suggests that Microsoft Corporation will launch the much-awaited Surface Phone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in early 2017. Earlier, the rumors mill suggested that the Phone will be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2017. According to latest rumors, the Windows 10 Mobile-powered smartphone, which is deemed as the iPhone killer, will be introduce during the MWC, which will take place in Barcelona, Spain, from February 27 to March 2.
The Redmond-based tech giant has setup a web page where MWC visitors can arrange meetings during the annual mobile showcase in Barcelona, according to a report from Trusted Reviews. The software titan is promising to "do great things" at the upcoming mobile industry gathering.
While there is a possibility of the Surface Phone's launch, the tech giant may be making announcements related to its progress in bringing the full version of Windows 10 to mobile devices. Earlier this month, Microsoft and Qualcomm announced that they are working to bring full Windows 10 support to devices running the Snapdragon processors. These are going to be the first ARM-based processors that enable users to run full desktop apps on phones and PCs.
Microsoft Surface Phone Rumors
Microsoft Corporation is said to introduce three variant of the Surface Phone: a consumer model; a business model; and an enthusiast edition. The business model is target business and corporate users, according to the rumors mill. The base model will feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, with a mid-range offering coming with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Some reports suggest that the Surface Phone will feature a Kaby Lake processor from Intel. Recent rumors indicate that the Phone will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors.
The Surface Phone, to be powered by Windows 10 Redstone operating system, is said to come with a unique fingerprint sensor. The tech giant recently filed a patent suggesting to integrate a fingerprint sensor on the phone's display.
