The leaked photographs of the next flagship of LeEco "LeEco LEX720" has revealed its similarities with Apple iPhone 7 Plus. The leaked images were reported by Gizmochina website. Many people are calling it a copycat move by the company. Lex720 does not just fail fans there, but the design also bears a lot of resemblance to the highly anticipated and speculated iPhone 7 plus. The rear camera on Le Max2 was enabled with technologies such as 6P lens, PDAF, Closed Loop, OIS, HDR and Dual-tone flash. It packs in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and a hefty 6GB of RAM, and while many may think of it as the best combination of hardware and software an Android fan can think of, think again, cos there's something bigger in the pipeline. In addition to, that the design also looked pretty same to iPhone 7plus.
The thick bands run towards the edges of the top and bottom end, look like copy of the iPhone 7 Plus, and seem to deliver a rounded appearance that is supposed to curve from the back and fade into the 2.5D glass screen on the front.
There is still no word on the release date, but we do not expect to see the device go official very soon if it is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 821 SoC. That's because a Chinese analyst recently revealed that the first Chinese OEM to release a Snapdragon 821 smartphone would be Xiaomi.
LeEco LEX720 is the successor of LeEco's previous released flagship Le Max 2 which is out for sale in India a few days back.
Performance-wise, it was recently spotted being benchmarked with AnTuTu and scored a high 154,272, beating LeEco's own Le Max 2.
Getting back to that amusing face-like design for its rear camera, we're not sure whether it's aesthetics or functionality, or perhaps a combo of both. If the rumors and leaked images are to be believed it is a great news for all the tech savvies.
