According to a recent report Apple is set to slash the price of its iPhone 5s device to only $225 which is insane. that's basically a 50% price cut from the original $450 price of an iPhone 5s.
Amit Daryanani, an analyst from RBC Capital Markets noted that the iPhone SE houses premium components like metal casing, A9 and M9 processors, 8 or 12 MP main camera, and Touch ID, so the pricing should be somewhere in the region of $549 (Rs. 36,500), in his note to investors.
Apple is expected to release the iPhone 7 device during their annual event on 9 September (9/9). The company is also expected to show off new bands for the Apple Watch. For one thing, it doesn't look like Apple is ditching its base storage options anytime soon, as the label in the image appeared to be from a 16GB model of the 4-inch iPhone.
The packaging, which could feasibly be photoshopped, also lists a Lightning to USB cable and EarPods in the box, meaning that the device will likely retain a 3.5mm headphone jack as expected.
Consumers are bombarded with a myriad of rumors on the upcoming iPhone 7 as Apple reportedly tries to innovate and take another leap of success for their next iPhone. The price, however, is playing a key role, so it remains to be seen if $549 is a big price to pay for someone who already has a 4-inch iPhone.
As per 9to5Mac's predictions, the iPhone SE will be offered in Space Gray, Silver, Rose Gold and Gold. It is not created to replace the iPhone 6s or 6s Plus. So it is not surprising if this leaked detail of the new iPhone will be true.
