Razer Gaming Smartphone Spotted: Dual-Camera With Xperia-Like Phone Design

Razer is scheduled to release a beast of a smartphone later in the year with the phone expected to be marketed to hardcore gamers. According to a previously-reported GFXBench leak, the device will be rocking 8GB of RAM and if you're interested in what the design could look like when the final product is being unveiled, a leaked imaged has revealed something very interesting for you.

Techbyte has posted an image of the Razer gaming smartphone and though we have yet to see it from the front, the rear side reveals a ton of information that we were not familiar with earlier. Firstly, the corners of the smartphone are going to be extremely pointed, meaning that the device could take inspiration from Sony's lineup of phones, which also take the same approach.

In addition, there is also a dual-camera situated at the top corner of the chassis but for now, we do not know how the secondary camera is going to behave. While we're hoping for a telephoto lens that will be able to deliver up to 2x optical zoom capability, it is also possible that the device features a monochrome lens similar to the Huawei P10.

If optics are not going to be its strong suit, then performance will definitely be, at least when roaming around the realm of Android smartphones. The phone will sport a 2K display but not a bezel-less design when relying on the GFXBench specifications. It will feature a Snapdragon 835 paired with 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

While these are high-end specs for an Android smartphone, what do you reckon is going to be the pricing of the device, especially a product that is going to be stamped with the infamous Razer logo?
