Samsung was working on a phone with a dual-camera setup

The near bezel-less display and soft buttons of the phone are a dead giveaway that this is indeed a Galaxy S8 that was left out of the production cycle.

Another Samsung Galaxy S8+ leak from Russian tech blogger Eldar Murtazin now shows two more images of a purported Galaxy S8 prototype and they're not like the final design either (the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have the same design, but in different sizes).

While Samsung seemingly never intended for the Bixby button to be customizable in the first place, third-party developers were able to change what the button did, such as booting up the camera or launching Google Assistant instead.

However, there is one pice of hardware that users would've liked an upgrade to with this year's flagship, and that's the camera on the Galaxy S8; the rear camera is the same as Galaxy S7, but the front-facing lens has been upgraded to an 8MP lens, citing the ever-increasing importance of the selfie shooter.

We know that this is not the first time T-Mobile made a decision to ship out their device earlier than expected. If this is true, it means that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus could be arriving earlier for these T-Mobile customers. A dual rear camera setup, once perfected, would be a great addition to a device line that showcases Samsung's best of the best.

For now, then, we can only look at the leaked image and think about what might have been - and perhaps, what could be.

After the fiery debacle associated with the Galaxy Note7, which was ultimately and unsurprisingly pinned upon its battery, Samsung went back to the drawing board and came up with a comprehensive eight-point battery safety check to ensure that future smartphones, such as the Galaxy S8 would not suffer the same fate. Both the devices have display ration of extra wide aspect ratio of 18.5:9. You can expand the storage upto 256GB with microSD card.

"Bixby Voice will be available in the USA on the Galaxy S8 later this spring".
