Moto G leaks suggest 4th generation phone will have updated camera, NFC

It's been a couple of days since the specifications for Motorola's upcoming refreshed Moto G handsets found their way online, so apparently it's about time Motorola's upcoming flagship lineup gets some attention. The company has started tweeting about the product hinting at various feature upgrades one can expect with the new device. It is presumed to have a microSD slot for memory expansion.

"NFC" also appears in the leaked spec sheet, which might make this the first Moto G to have the near-field chip. The new leak suggests Moto G4 will come with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera while Moto G4 Plus is likely to be launched with a 16 MP rear camera.

On the front there are a bevy of sensors above the display, as well as a front-facing camera. Enthusiasts believe that Motorola has considered the feedback of the users by releasing the device with major improvements.

We've already seen plenty of leaked pictures of the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus, but the internal hardware is still a big mystery. We can also see that one of these Moto X's has Verizon DROID branding on its backside, suggesting that Verizon and Motorola's DROID family will live on another year. Lenovo, which owns Motorola, is also having a press event in the U.S.in June, but it's unclear yet what will be showcased then.
