Microsoft Surface Phone Price Revealed; To Run On 8GB RAM, 512GB Storage

According to reports from supply chain at the start of this year, the successors of Surface pro and Surface Book were to be released late next year to make room for a possible Surface smartphone that will be released this year.

Microsoft Surface Phone is proof that the multinational giant is not leaving the mobile wars clear for Android and iOS. Now, if the Surface Phone will be the "ultimate business phone", it is safe to assume that users should expect more than that.

Microsoft has been a company which has been coming out with a large number of updates and upgrades in the recent past, and has been innovating the markets of technology with their operating systems and software technologies. Microsoft chief marketing officer, Chris Capossela, hinted in December of the development of the Microsoft Surface Phone.

The media agency quotes PC Tablet in reporting that the Microsoft Surface Phone is expected to have a 5.5-inch AMOLED display, Intel Atom x3 processor with 4GB RAM, Windows 10 OS and as much as 256GB to 500GB internal storage.

On the other hand, it can be remembered that Microsoft's Lumia boasted a 41 megapixel PureView camera, which was nearly similar to a DSLR camera and crowned as the best mobile phone camera.

The Microsoft Surface Phone is reportedly geared to be categorized as a business phone. Apart from the units, the Microsoft Store is also offering a $30 discount on the Surface Dock when purchased together with a Surface Book.

While Microsoft disappointingly did not unveil the Microsoft Surface Phone in the 2016 Mobile World Conference, the delay has only heightened expectations for the new Windows Phone. Reports suggest that the Microsoft Surface Phone will, instead, follow the release cycle that the technology giant uses.

The Surface Phone, as stated by the outlet, will have a unibody design made with a combination of magnesium and aluminum.
