The "iPhone 6S" may have already taken the smartphone spotlight this month. But don't let the publicity fool you, there are other phones that can do as good (or even better) as the latest iPhone, such as the "HTC One M9". But then again, eveything is debatable, so let's just compare the two smartphones here and give you an idea on which one suits you.

The DESIGNS of the "iPhone 6S" and the "HTC One M9" don't really differ much, aside from the 6S' fingerprint scanner that the HTC phone doesn't have. The two smartphones are similar in some ways such as their metal body and round corners. Both also has a variety of color selections. The "iPhone 6S" can be bought it space gray, gold, silver, or rose gold. The "HTC One M9" on the other hand has the colors amber gold, gunmetal gray, gold/pink, and silver/rose gold.
The DISPLAY features of the "HTC One M9" may be a step better than that of the "iPhone 6S" with HTC's 5 inch screen, 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, and 441 pixels per inch display. But the latest iPhone isn't doing so bad as well, with is 4.7 inch screen, 750 x 1334 resolution, and 326 pixels per inch density. The best thing about the 6S' screen is its 3D touch technology. Gone are the days that we got amazed by the touch screen technology. Now, the 3D touch takes the whole idea to the next level as it can sense and differentiate the amount of pressure you use in touching your screen.
The SPECIFICATIONS of the "iPhone 6S" is hardly revealed. What is certain is that it comes with Apple's A9 chipset. It's a simple description, but if you have been using an Apple device, you can just assume that the 6S is just as smooth and as fast as all the Apple devices has ever been, or probably even faster.
The "HTC One M9" on the other hand can't be underestimated as well. It has a chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and CPU of 'Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57'.
The MEMORY of the "iPhone 6S" won't have an external storage slot, and the storage variation is the usual 16gb, 64gb, and 128gb. The "HTC One M9" on the other hand has a external storage slot that can cater up to 128gb. As for the two phones' RAM, the HTC phone has 3gb and the 6S has 2gb.
"HTC One M9" can give the "iPhone 6S" a run for its money when it comes to the CAMERA features. The 6S boasts about its 4K video recording, but guess what, the HTC smartphone can do that too. Not only that, 6S carries a big 12mp camera feature, but the HTC phone has a beastly cam specs of 20mp.
The PRICES of the "iPhone 6S" and the "HTC One M9" aren't too far from each other. The 6S has a cost of $199 (2 yr contract) and the HTC phone is similarly priced at the same contract.
As a CONCLUSION, the specs of the two phone can confuse you as they are quite similar. But as a summary, the HTC phone wins in the camera and display department and the 6S will still continue to boast about its 3D touch technology.
